Want to introduce your group to rock climbing on a natural cliff?

Our climbing school is certified by the Fédération québécoise de la montagne et de l’escalade (FQME)
for teaching and supervising climbing activities. We will adapt the activity regarding the abilities and the age of the participants so that every kid will go home with an incredible memory.

COURSE CONTENT

  • Discover rock climbing and its equipment
  • Basic belaying and lowering techniques
  • Learn basic movements
  • Communiction and safety signs while climbing
  • Supervised climb
  • A little bit of effort and a lot of fun !

The Introduction to Rock Climbing for day camp includes:

  • AGMA and FQME certified instructor
  • Rock climbing equipment
  • Entry fee per person to Montagne d’Argent ($12 per person)
  • Freebies for persons in charge of the group

Minimum age 

  • 6 years old

Prerequisite : None

Schedule for the day:

  • 10:45 AM: Reception at the LA LIBERTÉ NORD-SUD hut and hand-out of equipment
  • 11:00 AM: Safety rules and demonstration
  • 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM: Supervised climbs
  • 3:30 PM: End of rock climb and return to the hut
  • 4:00 PM: Departure

Dates:

  • From Monday to Friday between July 1st and August 9
  • More availabilities on demand
  • We can also start the activity at 9h45 instead of 10h45

Number of participants and rate (taxes included)  

  • 1 instructor – 3 ropes (up to 9 active participants at the same time)
    • $ 325 (taxes included)
  • 2 instructors – 6 ropes (up to 18 active participants at the same time)
    • $ 550(taxes included)
  • 3 instructors – 12 ropes (up to 27 active participants at the same time)
    • $ 650 (taxes included)

A $250 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR ONLINE RESERVATIONS (we will send an adjusted invoice based on the final number of participants)

    3. In the notes, clearly indicate the complete contact information for final billing as well as the approximate number of participants
    4. Finally, download our medical questionnaire and ensure that each participant completes it BEFORE the activity.
